Case study: Landmark Pinnacle

Landmark Pinnacle is the tallest residential building in Western Europe.

Working closely with the developer Chalgrove Properties and lead architect Squire and Partners, we were engaged to provide a golf simulator for the 56th floor gym and residential amenity facility.

Landmark Pinnacle is a luxury development, and it was imperative that our simulator solution matched the stylish contemporary aesthetic that is the hallmark of all the shared spaces that residents of the building enjoy.

We devised an overhead camera solution to offer the best possible playing experience, while avoiding the potential for damage. The overhead solution offers the additional benefit of supporting both right and left-handed golfers in a narrow simulator - space being at a premium on the 56th floor of the building.

With floor-to-ceiling glass on the left-hand side of the simulator, a solution to protect the glass from errant golf balls had to be found. We installed curtains on either side of the simulator to reduce the chance of balls escaping the playing enclosure, and automated the operation of the curtains so they move seamlessly into the correct position when the simulator software boots up - creating a dramatic introduction to the user experience.

We created a bespoke joinery to store golf clubs, balls and the computer equipment in a secure and stylish way - creating a truly unique indoor golf experience which we believe to the be highest in Europe, if not the world!
